Khedenishi private museum has
opened in the heart of Kakheti,
in the village of Velistsikhe.
Velistsikhe is a village which
counts 1500 years of history. It
is rich of cultural and
historical monuments of early
medieval period; the Velistsikhe
Theater is 125 years old.
The private museum includes
Marani (wine cellar), which
belongs to feudal period and a
rich exposition of artifacts of
Georgian culture and history.
During the tour about the Marani
the owners of the Museum treat
guests with wine and share
Georgian traditions with them.
If you make a reservation they
will arrange a folklore evening
and a traditional Georgian
